The core idea for this pedal,as well as the cover art, came from Luka Pek.
He bought a Bipolar and since then we started a never ending chat about pedals, pedal builiding and other stompbox-related stuff.
He used to own a delay with a feedback loop in which he put a compressor. Thanks to this he was able to shape the delay repetitions a bit to achieve different and fairly unique delay sounds.
But he wanted a bit more and in less space.
We choose the FV-1 for the delay (we also kept the option to use the internal programs) with an EEPROM slot and a programming port on the board for further experiments.
Around the FV-1 we built a feedback loop in which we placed a full analog compressor. Later on we added the option to switch the compressor or in the feedback loop or in series with the delay.
Last thing: tone pot for the delay repetions, to add another tool to the sculpting process.
